This year Golden Triangle Emergency Center – Orange enjoyed rewarding their Employee of the Year Award to a very deserving individual. This distinguished award, is voted on by the staff and executive team, they look for employees who go above and beyond their job requirements and look for ways to better themselves, the company and their fellow employees.  

Golden Triangle Emergency Center – Orange employee of the year is John Hennessy. John graduated from Vidor High School and completed his education at Excelsior College. At GTEC John is the charge nurse and his job duties entail quality patient care, medication administration, triage, primary assessment, quality assurance, assistant to director of nursing and pharmacy lead. John has been with the company since they opened our doors April 1st 2015, and was previously the employee of the month May 2015. 

John is a father of two beautiful children, Kortlyn and Jase. He and has been married to his wife Maegan for 15 years. Maegan works at Turning Point Church where she was previously the music director and could show case her skills as an amazing vocalist. The Hennessy family has a black lab puppy named Cash. John’s hobbies include golfing, trying all types of food, hunting, being a coffee coinsurer, cars, LSU, music and traveling!   

After informing John about his award he said,” This is the best job I have ever had in my 20 years in the medical field. I love working for GTEC and love my team.” 

John is more than deserving of this award and Golden Triangle Emergency Center – Orange couldn’t ask for a better employee.  He received a beautiful crystal and monetary gift. Thank you, John, for all of your hard work and leadership that you relentlessly give to make Golden Triangle Emergency Center to make it the best it can be!
