Golden Triangle Emergency Center Mid-County Celebrates 1 Year of Excellence in Emergency Care

Golden Triangle Emergency Center is excited to announce our first year anniversary! Our Port Arthur/Mid-County corporate location first opened one year ago this month. It has been our honor to serve the Golden Triangle with excellence in emergency care and to celebrate we hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony accompanied with a complimentary brunch that was open to the public.

About the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

In recognition of the anniversary there was an ribbon cutting ceremony with the Nederland Chamber of Commerce and the Port Neches Chamber of Commerce. We are delighted to serve the Nederland and Port Neches communities and are honored that the respective chambers of commerce were in attendance at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. We also hope that others throughout the communities will join us in this celebration and take part in the brunch and giveaways.

About the Brunch

Brunch was served by the Neches River Wheelhouse creating a delicious and memorable event! Of course we realize that no true celebratory meal is finished until dessert is served! That’s why we served sweet treats provided from Debbie’s Delights!

We Had Giveaways!

To further mark the occasion GTEC will also held giveaways throughout the day to show our gratitude to our patients and community. Our patients are truly our number one priority and the celebration wouldn’t be complete without the presence of the members of the communities that we serve. Thank you for helping us ring in our first year delivering next level emergency care!

Golden Triangle Emergency Centers Celebrates EMS Week

Every year emergency medical services (EMS) save countless American lives by springing into action at the first sign of a medical emergency. EMS workers are trained to handle everything from serious illness to sudden traumatic injury and it is their speed, efficiency, and good judgment that often marks the difference between a fatal or permanently debilitating injury or a fully recoverable health event. Sunday, May 17th through Saturday, May 23rd marks National EMS Week.

What Is National EMS Week?

National EMS Week is a yearly celebration designed to honor EMS workers and the invaluable service they provide while also bringing awareness to emergency services. Emergency services include the paramedics, ambulance service, emergency room nurses and doctors, and the vast network of hospitals, trauma centers, rehabilitation facilities, and other specialty care centers located throughout the country, both in the private and public sectors.

How Is National EMS Week Celebrated?

There’s no one way to celebrate National EMS Week. It is being celebrated in a wide variety of ways all across the country. In New York City for example the Empire State Building is being lit up in yellow, white, and blue and a siren halo to celebrate EMS Week and the fire department. Meanwhile in other parts of the country fundraisers are being held with the proceeds going toward special health or safety causes. For example in Glacier Country, MT EMS personnel are donating their time to a full service grocery bagging and carry out event to raise money.

Still elsewhere in NAPA County, CA EMS personnel are reuniting with the survivors of near-fatal cardiac events whose lives they saved. In Daytona, FL EMS workers are being honored with a special BBQ celebration. Finally, there are also educational events like the CPR Worldwide Challenge, which helps people learn life-saving skills.

Regardless of how you decide to celebrate Golden Triangle Emergency Centers hopes you’ll take a few moments to honor and celebrate the hard work and life-saving expertise of your local EMS workers. We are extremely gratified to be a part of our country’s emergency medical system and to deliver consistent, quality care when it is most needed.

Mid-County, PA gets free-standing Emergency Center

Golden Triangle Emergency Center is just days away from opening to the public

GTEC’s new 10,000+ sq. ft., state of the art facility will be the first of its kind in the Mid-County / PA area. Golden Triangle Emergency Center (GTEC) was created to bring concierge-level emergency care to Port Arthur and Southeast Texans. Golden Triangle Emergency Physicians (GTEP) has provided Physician staffing for the ER at Victory Medical Center in Beaumont since May of 2013, and continues to do so. Realizing the need for quality emergency care throughout Southeast Texas, GTEC decided to expand its reach with this corporate location in Port Arthur and then, with a third location coming to Orange in a few months.

As a free-standing emergency center owned and operated by emergency room physicians, GTEC, Port Arthur offers patients a viable option to the typical cramped waiting areas and long lines commonly found in most hospital-based ERs. Patients will enjoy the ambience and personal attention of a high-end private practice with state-of-the-art imaging and lab capabilities on site. GTEC’s Port Arthur staff consists of 48 skilled nursing, administrative and technician personnel, along with 15 Physicians.

GTEC Port Arthur accepts all Major Insurance and honors all in-network benefits, even if they are not included in the patients’ network.
