Brad Barton, MD is the Medical Director of Golden Triangle Emergency Center – Orange. Dr. Barton started work as a paramedic for San Marcos/Hayes County EMS from 2003-2005. He continued his education and went on to get his Doctor of Medicine Degree as well as his Board Certification in Emergency Medicine and has been practicing since 2012. After working in several busy Hospital ERs, Dr. Barton began to feel that administrators were more interested in ER doctors who can see patients quickly rather than those that take the time to get to know patients. After becoming the Medical Director for GTEC, Dr. Barton is now able to sit down with each patient and give as much time as needed for the patient to fully describe their problem in detail. It is his belief that there are subtle clues you can pick up on if the patient interaction is truly patient-centered. In this Free-Standing ER environment, Dr. Barton provides the kind of care and attention to detail that patients prefer: individualized care with compassion.
