He brings more than 20 years of expertise in the Business of Emergency Medicine to Nutex Health. Dr. Tom Vo is board certified in emergency medicine and has worked in several hospitals and free-standing emergency centers throughout Texas. Additionally, Dr. Vo has been instrumental in the start-up and management of over 20 Free Standing Emergency Centers in Texas. He is recognized by his contemporaries as one of the pioneers and leaders in his field.

Dr. Tom Konjoyan, M.DHometown: Nederland, Texas Education: Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bates College, Lewiston Maine and continued on to the University of the Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine where he was part of the Phi Sigma Gamma national osteopathic Honor Fraternity and then on to Emergency Medicine Residency at Darnall Army Hospital, Fort Hood, Texas where he became the Chief Resident. Dr. Konjoyan has worked in the Golden Triangle for a number of years and is a recipient of the ACEP award that recognizes 30 years of emergency medicine. He has been with Golden Triangle Emergency Center since its creation in 2014. He is married to his wonderful wife Carolyn for 23 years and has 9 grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, BASEBALL, music and is a singer in a Christian Praise Band.

Jen Hardy Lewis, B.S.
Hometown: Port Neches, Texas
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Lamar UniversityJen’s passion for helping people is the reason she chose healthcare as her career path. Her extensive 20 years of experience in project management and facility management in the healthcare industry include home health, sleep study, private practice, hospice and emergency care. Her career has taken her from Texas to Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana and then back to Texas. Jen accepted her position with GTEC as the Executive Assistant in 2014 and quickly went to work on the first ground-up build for GTEC in Port Arthur. She was then promoted to Director of Operations in 2015 and went to work on the second project for GTEC Orange. Jen is on the Nederland Chamber of Commerce board, an Ambassador for the Port Neches Chamber of Commerce and is on the Rotary Board. Her hard work and dedication is what make her a valuable asset to the Golden Triangle team.
Director of Nurses Mid-County Golden Triangle Emergency Center
Stephanie Massey R.N., B.S.N.Hometown: Beaumont, Texas Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Lamar University Stephanie worked in the Emergency Department for over 20 years. She started as a patient care assistant in 1997. She has also managed an ER that was a Level 3 trauma center, cardiac center, stroke center and part of a Magnet facility. Stephanie previously managed the forensic program and child life Specialist program as well. With 6 years of prior management/administrative experience Stephanie transitioned to GTEC in October of 2017. She is also a member of Emergency Nurses Association and Society of Trauma Nurses. Stephanie is very passionate about her patients and staff and couldn’t see herself working anywhere else but an emergency room.
Lead Patient Representative Mid- County Golden Triangle Emergency Center
Michelle DixonHometown: Port Arthur, Texas Education: Graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School, in Port Arthur and continued her education at Lamar State College Port Arthur Michelle is an experienced Patient Access Representative with over 25 years of experience in the medical field right here in the Golden Triangle. She came to Golden Triangle Emergency Center Mid-County in July 2014 with the opportunity to build something new. Being the lead patient representative require great attention to detail, time management and most importantly great people skills, all of which Michelle prides herself on. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, baking, listening to music, and socializing with her Social Club Sister’s. Michelle enjoys working for GTEC and is looking forward to her continued growth with the company.

Dr. Brad Barton, M.D.
Hometown: Athens, Texas
Education: Bachelors of Arts in Science with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Sierra Nevada College — Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston — Residency in Emergency Medicine at Texas A&M University in Corpus ChristiBrad Barton, MD is the Medical Director of Golden Triangle Emergency Center – Orange. Dr. Barton started work as a paramedic for San Marcos/Hayes County EMS from 2003-2005. He continued his education and went on to get his Doctor of Medicine Degree as well as his Board Certification in Emergency Medicine and has been practicing since 2012. After working in several busy Hospital ERs, Dr. Barton began to feel that administrators were more interested in ER doctors who can see patients quickly rather than those that take the time to get to know patients. After becoming the Medical Director for GTEC, Dr. Barton is now able to sit down with each patient and give as much time as needed for the patient to fully describe their problem in detail. It is his belief that there are subtle clues you can pick up on if the patient interaction is truly patient-centered. In this Free-Standing ER environment, Dr. Barton provides the kind of care and attention to detail that patients prefer: individualized care with compassion.

Hometown: Groves, TexasLindsey Frioux is a long time resident of Groves, TX, and graduated from Port Neches Groves High School. Prior to working at GTEC, Lindsey worked for 13 years in the medical field. Her compassion for the staff, fun outgoing personality, plus her drive to see the company succeed make her a valuable asset to the GTEC team and that is why she was promoted to Director of Operations in the fall of 2017. Later that year Harvey impacted much of Southeast Texas and GTEC – Orange was not spared. Lindsey spear headed getting the facility back up and running with the help of her amazing team and in just one month the doors were open again to the public. She is grateful for the opportunities she has been given and is excited about her new position with the company.

Angela Webb, R.N., B.S.N., C.E.N.

Education: C.N.A. from Lamar State College-Orange — L.V.N. license and R.N. license in 2010 from Lamar State College, Orange — Bachelor’s degree in Science and Nursing from University of Texas at Arlington in 2012 — Board Certification in Emergency Nursing in 2013Angela’s caring heart and compassion for others is what drove her to serve in the medical profession. After being a nurse for six years, she accepted the position at Golden Triangle Emergency Center as the director of Emergency Services of Orange. Angela has done everything from Geriatrics to Orthopedics and Medical Surgery to Pediatric Home Health with her current career now in Emergency Nursing. Angela’s goal when accepting her current position as Director of Emergency Services for GTEC was to create a healthcare system that was not only beneficial for the people of the Golden Triangle but also a place that her employees loved to come to every day. This, in turn, would allow her team to provide top-notch compassionate care to the surrounding areas. Angela has been very blessed to have been a part of GTEC since its inception and excited to continue serving the Golden Triangle for years to come.

Kari Busch, B.S., M.S.

Education: Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Fitness Management with a Minor in Health from Lamar University — Master of Science in Kinesiology from Lamar UniversityFor as long as she can remember, Kari knew she wanted to work in healthcare. She has been employed in various industries such as education, hospitality, healthcare, and law. She prides herself on her organizational, leadership, and communication skills. In 2015, she accepted her current position as Director of Marketing for both Golden Triangle Emergency Centers. As the Director of Marketing, Kari has helped to develop the industry in the golden triangle and educate the public. She is an Ambassador for the Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce, an Ambassador for the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce and on the board of directors for the Port Arthur Education Foundation. Kari loves her marketing career at GTEC and plans to continue to grow with the company.

Terea Harris RT (R)

Education: Lamar Institute of TechnologyTerea Harris is a lifelong resident of the Golden Triangle and has strong bonds across the local communities. After graduating from the Lamar Institute of Technology with honors, she began her career as an Emergency Room X-ray Technologist. With nearly 20 years of experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist, she has proven herself to be one of the best in her field.

Dr. Michael Crossley, D.ODr. Crossley received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Lamar University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch medical school in Galveston, TX. Dr. Crossley completed his Emergency Medicine training at Texas Tech in El Paso, TX. Dr. Crossley has over 20 years of experience in emergency medicine in the Golden Triangle. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, doing church work, playing the bagpipes, and building furniture.

Annie Kovatch R.N., B.S.N.
Hometown: Sugarland Texas
Education: BSN from Lamar University in 2011Annie moved to southeast Texas when she was in 4th grade. She later married her high school sweetheart and now resides in Orangefield where they are raising their two children Annalise and Maverick. Her love for nursing began when she was in high school and she joined HOSA that taught her about the numerous benefits and opportunities in healthcare. Annie has worked as an Emergency Room Nurse since 2008 and has special training in the CVICU, is a member of Emergency Nurses Association, and Texas Nurses Association. Annie is bi lingual and has worked closely with clubs in our community like the Lions Club and the America Red Cross. She is very excited about her opportunity of growth within the company, to be able to go from the Charge Nurse at one facility to helping open a new facility and be the Director of Nurse. Annie is going to make a great addition to the GTEC executive team!

Education: Graduated Nederland High School 2005Brittany was born and raised in Nederland Texas and has set her roots here with her two pugs. When she was in high school she was involved in HOSA her Junior and Senior year which persuaded her into a career in the medical field. After graduating high school she worked full time and attended class at Lamar University. Brittany has worked in customer service for the last 15 years and in the medical field for the last 6 years. She has been with GTEC since they opened their doors at their Port Arthur facility in July of 2014 and is excited to continue to grow with the company.
